Invitations

I have been getting so many calls asking whether or not I do invitations.  Yes, I do.  I work differently than the traditional creators.  I do not have templates of designs where you choose the type and font and voila you have your invite.  I like to custom create an invite. For example:  The sample image was for a girl who was expecting twins.  She specifically told me that she wanted two peas in a pod, so I drew the image, added vines and small floating seeds, we choose a yellow polka dotted background.  This invite was printed on ECO friend linen card stock, the peas were hand adorn with sparkles and  the invite was matched up with a chocolate brown envelope.  She was extremely pleased with the results.

Eco Fair

I attended my first Eco Fair today and the turn out was not as I was expecting.  Out of the experience  I met some nice people.  One of the women inspired me to create this blog, so please bare with me.  I am a newbie to this.  So the fair started with all the vendors setting up their space with the various selling items.  I felt a bit out of place since all the items around me were "Fair Trade" items.  My product was designed and created here in Toronto, so there was no fair trade at my section.  The reaction of people towards my greeting cards was very positive.  They all liked the fact that they are literally handmade, I print, cut , score and embellish each card.  Sounds like a lot of work but when you love doing something so much the time flies away.
